Dry Patches On Body, Flaky, Cuts On Skin. Had Dyshidrotic Eczema Previously. Related Symptoms?

I have been getting small round dry patches on my body, they are flaky and have like a small cut on the skin. They do not itch ..but dry up in a few days, leave a spot, then fade away. I get them especially when I am stressed. They appear in groups, sometimes on my arms, the go to my calves, then on my belly and so on. No oooze, very dry. I did have a very bad case of Dyshidrotic eczema on my feet, for the very first time. That cleared up eventually with meds. The other skin disorder happened months later. I do not know if the skin conditions are related. Want to know what it could be.

Hi There,
It sounds like Discoid OR Nummular eczema. Its a common variant of eczema and can occur at any age.
There is no known cause of it but an insect bite, minor injury, alcohol, stress dry cold weather can bring on these dry,non itchy and round patches.
1:As the eczema can be brought up by minor injury so take care of your skin and avoid it from irritants like frequent washing, harsh soaps, detergents etc.
2:keep the areas moisturised as much as possible, apply them as frequent as possible.Vaseline or white soft paraffin are good emollients.try to keep all your body moisturised with good lotions which you have tried and suits you better.
3:If you think there is some inflammation ,oozing or pus in the areas then you can use topical steroids or topical anti biotics or combination of both according to the need.
i hope that will help.
thanks
