Dry Patch On Lip, Swelling Visible. What Do I Treat It With?

Hi I have a dry patch on my top lip. It doesn t itch and it s not any other color but I feel the dryness. When I smile my lip feels tight. If I try to wipe the dry patch my lip will get swollen. I don t know what it is or how to treat it. It started with a small area on both sides of the lip and a few days ago it spread to the middle of the lip too.
