Dry Cough, Pain On Rib. Rapidol S Tablets, Syrup Prescribed. Suggestions?

Hi, I have a dry cough since last Thursday, and it doesn't stop. Yesterday when i woke up a had pain under my right chest on the rib and it is not a muscle. Today the pain is bigger a can take it anymore. I feel like i have something swollen because i cough day and night every sec for the past 4 days. The pain is so so painful. I went to doctor yesterday and they gave me some pills Rapidol S 400 mg and syrup and today is worse. I think that Diaphragm is swollen. Please doctor help me nobody understand the pain that i have. If it doesn't stop i will go to hospital can't stand this anymore.

The cough and pain can be because of chest problem which includes lungs, pleura, bones and muscles or it can be due to any intra abdominal and sub diaphragmatic pathology which is irritating the diaphragm and causing the symptoms. You need to get a chest x ray and a usg w/a done to rule out any lung or intra abdominal.
