Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was doing a stress test yesterday, I am 44 years old. bp 132 82. I am overweight . my cholesterol is 6.1 last test. I lasted about 9 1/2 minutes on the treadmill until I reached the peak level. Is that a reasonable amount of time? my dr called today for me to return his call. This worries me as he never calls unless there is a problem.
The duration is good.
But there are other important criteria for assessment - the most important is ST depression...
Overweight and cholesterol are 2 important risk factors.
Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
