Done Pap Smear, STD Testing. EOB Shows ICD. What Does This Mean?

I recently went in for a routine Pap smear and STD testing to obtain birth control (I am sexually active but have always used a condom). It has been two months and I have not received a phone call with the results. However my EOB recently arrived and there was an ICD on the bill. I have searched the internet and have found conflicting definitions of what this means. Could I have a STD but was not notified by my physician? Could the ICD mean something else? (for example to show what the original test was testing for?)

hi,
i advice you to contact the laboratory to get the result. no report will be called ICD. however the International classification of Diseases (ICD) will have number to denote a disease if any such number is there then, it will be the diagnosis, but used only for medical fraternity. if no number is mentioned then it is some other ICD.

kindly call the lab/hospital for results

wish you good health, keep using condoms
