Done Hysterectomy. Have Abdominal Pain, Pelvic Pressure, Frequent Urination. Normal?

HI, I had a laparscopic total hysterectomy a week and half ago using the de vinci. I've been experiencing sharp abdominal pain on the left side just below my umbilical. I have been walking up and down stairs and squatting occasionally to pick things up. I also experience pelvic pressure by the end of day with frequent urination. I was diagnosed with fibroids and endometeriosis. I'm worried I have pulled out stitches. Should I call the surgeon or is this normal?

Hi,

Most probably, you might be facing any urinary tract infection or inflammation post-operation.

I would suggest to call your surgeon if you see something is wrong with your operation wound or if the pain and problems you are facing are not resolved after taking painkiller (for 2 days).

Hope it helped!
