Hi, Thanks for writing in to us. The rupture of follicle is a reflection of ovulation which is release of the egg in the female. This is the most fertile time in the menstrual cycle for a woman to conceive. The date of ovulation is usually constant at 14 days before the onset of periods. It is said that a couple should have sex regularly from one day before ovulation and until 4 days after it happens. This will increase the chances of getting pregnant. You must try again during your next cycle, the most fertile days would be staring 14 days from the expected onset of your next periods. There might also be other causes for you not getting pregnant like anti sperm antibodies in your cervix, non deposition of adequate amount of semen in your vagina, abnormal sperm production in your partner and any pelvic infection in you.
