Dog Bite, Small Wound. Taken Vaxirab Injection As A Safety Precaution. Do I Need Any Other Vaccination?

Hi I took Vaxirab injection yesterday, One dog tried to bite me but I escaped form there then I found a small would like a pencil point size. Then safer side I consulted the doctor he has given Vaxirab injection and said one injection is sufficient not required more. Please suggest me on this. But I am sure that dog didn t bite me.

One shot of Vaxirab is no solution. If there was no actual bite, no bleeding from the site, then take a preventive course of vaccine i.e. 0,7, 28. It means take another shot on day 7 from the first shot and ten on day 28 from first shot.
But if you feel there was a bite, and the dog is road side, then take 4 more shots, i.e. 3,7,14, and 28.
