Does Vitamin B12 Cause Odor In Urine?

My mother is currently taking vesicare, b12 vatimins that was perscribed by the doctor ,also ramipril for high blood pressure and dementia meds.Recently she was hospitalized she had surgery of a blocked small intestine which she spend the whole summer in the hospital.she is back home now but recently we noticed that when she urinates there's an odor in her urine.can this be caused from the vatimin b12? Also she wakes up during the evening for frequent urination.My mother is 82 years old,however the urine did not have any odor prior the sugery.

B12 is a water-soluble vitamin with a key role in the normal functioning of the brain,nervous system and for the formation of blood.
Unabsorbed B12 from the intestine always passes through urine and might give some typical smell.
It is better to go for serum B12 investigation and adjust the dose accordingly.
Give more water and other liquids.
Also ask your doctor to review her medicines and condition.
