Does Using Copper T As Birth Control Cause Heavy Bleeding During Periods?
Hello doctor, Recently I gave birth to child. After that I am using Coper-t for birth control. Now during the menstrual cycle a heavy bleeding is happening. Due to this iam get lot of health problems like weakness and hand pain 24/7. How to solve my problem like heavy body pains.
Hi, Welcome to HCM, I read your query carefully. As per your concern,Heavy menstural bleeding can be a side effect of Copper-T. I would suggest you to take Tranexamic Acid 500mg twice a day for 3 days during mensturation. It will give you symptomatic relieve. But I would Advise you to go for Ultrasound (pelvis). Then consult with Gynaecologist for further treatment. Hope so it will be helpful. You can write again in case of any query or follow up. Wish you Good health. Regards
