Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Because of the theoretical risk of transmission of live attenuated
rubella vaccine virus to the developing fetus, women known to be
pregnant should not receive an RCV (rubella-containing vaccines). In addition, pregnancy should be avoided for 28 days after receipt of an RCV. Rubella-containing vaccines are unlikely to cause menstrual irregularities. You may go for USG (ultrasonography) pelvis to rule out conception (LMP-13.11.18).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
