Does Usage Of Nystatin Powder Help In Clearing The Groin Area Skin?
Can nystatin powder expire? I am working with a lady who is needing to get her skin cleared up prior to hip replacement surgery. The doc has declined to do surgery until her skin is in better shape in the groin area as he is worried about infection. She is elderly and unable to keep the skin separated so that things can dry in her groin area. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks

The symptoms of the lady seem to be related to a fungal infection. I recommend using antifungal cream such as Miconazole cream. I also suggest using Fluconazole tablet for oral treatment.
