Does Usage Of Ibuprofen Help In Curing Sinus Headache?

I wake up many mornings with the back of my throat filled with white mucus and deep red blood. Once the mucus is cleared it still takes a little while to clear the blood. I am fine for the rest of the day. I have constant sinus problems and go from clear to stuffed up for no apparent reason with the occasional sinus headache which ibuprofen seems to help.

As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from chronic sinusitis leading to post nasal drip and bleeding from the inflamed sinus lining..
Headache can be due to inflammation in the frontal sinuses..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like PNS View x-ray and MRI Scan of sinuses along with sputum culture can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly.
You can be advised to take a course of antibiotics like Augmentin or Levofloxacin, take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestants like Phenylephrine, mucolytics like Ambroxol..
Saline nasal irrigation, steam inhalation and using a humidifier in your room can help..
You should sleep with head slightly raised and chin downwards to ease drainage and preventing choking..
Avoid chilled foods..
