Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Normally some viral infections and bacterial infections like streptococcal causes both tonsillitis and joint pains. But in most cases both of them may have different etiology. That both may not be related as tonsillitis every time does not lead to joint pains. And no, removing of your tonsils does not prevent or cure your joint pains.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
