General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Thyroxine is a safe drug and side effects will be minimal. However, make sure that the hormone status will be within the normal range.

You can go for a thyroid function test ( TFT) and make necessary adjustments in the dose.

Hyperthyroidism (excess thyroid hormones) can cause symptoms similar in your case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
