i had unwanted 72( 1 pill) after 40 hrs of unprotected intercourse. but now i am pregnant by 6 weeks .i did one scan in teh 6th week to detect pregnancy. the fetus was looking fine as per doctor. will this pill have any effect on my child in futute? please let me know.

Hi, I have gone through your question. Unwanted72 contains levonorgestrel which is a progesterone. If taken in conceptional period, it does not have any harmful effect on the foetus. There are noharmful or teratogenic effect of levonorgestrel seen in fetus in various studies done worldwide.
