Does The Strong Odour Of Bleach Affect The Nose?

I was using bleach to clean and had a mask on 5 min into cleaning the bleach became very strong I had ventilation so I went outside and have this bleach smell in my nose and its hard to smell anything else but bleach. I can't seem to get the bleach smell out of my nose. Is this harming me or will it go away soon

Thanks for writing to us.
Bleach contains ammonia which a pungent smell and can persist for few hours. So unless, the bleach did not accidentally enter your nose or affected the mucosa. its not going to harm. next time be careful with the amount of bleach that you use and also avoid areas around eyes, mouth and nose as bleach can irritate these areas.
