Does The Nose Injury Need Medical Attention?
Hi, a wardrobe shelf fell on the bridge of my nose it s cut straight across and I have swelling. I have applied ice in a towel and the swelling is slowly going but I have pain all under and above my eyes and obviously my nose is so painful! Is it worth going to the hospital to see if it s broke? What should I do?

If your nose is still painful and swollen its better to visit ent specialist, just to rule out nasal bone fracture and in case any deformity is present, it has to be corrected surgically, if there's no malalignment then you will be managed conservatively, in the meantime you can start on diclofenac with seratiopeptidase tablet after food, twice daily, to reduce pain and swelling, take care.
