Does The Mild Angina Curable With Medication?

Hi, I have been diagnosed mild hypertension a year ago &put on medication viz: Ridaq 25mg daily po. I used this medication, then I experienced sharp throbbing pain radiating to the left arm, which I explained to my physician same day when consulted, tht I have something like angina symptoms which he confirmed is a mild angina. I m currently using atenolol,amtas5, disprin 150mg daily together with Ridaq 12,5 mg daily, the pain is still there but am also using Isordil prn, which has a good effect on pain. I want to know, is the angina going to stop/ is it like the chronic hypertension?

Hard to say. New onset angina would be a reason for a lot of interventions like cardiac catheterization to see if there are blockages. Sometimes the pain isn't from the heart but mostly it would be and mostly it would be chronic.
The situation is dynamic though. and will tend to get better or worse with a significant risk of heart attack and heart problems.
