Does The Lip Swelling Go After Being Stitched?
I have stitching in my upper lip which has.been there for almost four days. It is pretty puffed up. I understand that my stitching will deteriorate in about two weeks. Will my lip look like it did before the injury? Like will my lip swelling go all the way back down or will it stay pretty big?

Yes definitely the swelling will go off after 1 week and your lip will be back to normal.
As at this time healing is going on so slight edema (swelling) will be there and it will take to recover, so please do not worry it will be fine.

I can understand your problem, the lip injury left the hard scar because of the tissue of lips there is special technic for stiches for the lips and plastic surgeon does it very well, chances of hardening of the scar would remain there, in my opinion, you have to have second opinion form the plastic surgeon, right from now, hope this information helps you, take care and have nice time.
