Does the hot weather create craving for sweet things?

Hello. My name is Tommy, I am writing my senior paper. I was wondering if you knew whether or not heat has anything to do with the cravings we have for sugar? One of my teachers at my high school told me people tend to crave sweeter goods in the hotter times of the day or in the hotter areas around the country. Is this true? And if so, why does our body do that?

you are wrong , in hot area or in hot whether there is craving for salt ( not sweet)
Salt cravings be the result of mild dehydration. When you sweat, you lose salt from your body. If you have salt cravings after exercise or after sweating on a hot day, you've probably lost too many electrolytes.
