Does The Disturbance In Head Settle Down In A Person With Acoustic Neuroma?

I'm post acoustic neuroma. Lost hearing via craniotomy on the left side
There still seems a lot of noise (not sound, tinnitus etc) associated with that side of the head.
Will this settle down? As it is impacting on remaining hearing in the ear not effected

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have disturbance in head settle down in a person with acoustic neuroma. Well disturbance in your haed as you mention in query is probably due to acoustic neuroma . Usually acoustic neuroma cause pressure in head , which gives starnge sensation in head . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may recommend stereotactic radiosurgery or surgical removal growth . Doctor may also refer you to neurologist for other reasons. For now do mind relaxing exercises like meditation .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
