Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern. I have gone through your query and would like to offer some suggestions. Ovulation occurs two weeks prior to the onset of the next period and this is the fertile phase when an unprotected intercourse can cause conception. If you had the intercourse before or after this phase, you are safe and do not need emergency contraceptive medication. Also, if you take proper course of emergency contraceptive pill within the stipulated interval, you are protected. In future, please opt for regular contraception. Hope this helps.
