Does Taking Contraceptive Pills Causes Pimples ?

dear doctor im 36 yrs old last month i took ipill my lmp 5th july .this month i did not get periods and too much pimples on my face,blood test done not pregnant please give me asolution ,is pimples due to this before i never had and 1st time im using a contraceptive pill.

Yes, contraceptive pills could cause pimples as a side effect.
You could benefit from applying a gel containing clindamycin phosphate in the morning and 2.5% benzoyl peroxide/adapelene combination at bed time. If gels are not bringing acne under control, You could take oral doxycycline or azithromycin after consulting a dermatologist.
Drink lots of water and have a healthy diet. Avoid fried foods and foods high in sugar content.
