Does Taking Taxotere Causes Sciatic Neuropathy In Legs And Back?
Hi doctor I have netastcal prostate can cd er which is now in my bone marrow. I have been receiving doses of 30 to 35 for 5 visits because of my blood cells being so low.. Now I havs sciatic neuropathy in both legs and back . Couls it be a serious side effect from the taxotere?

Sciatic neuropathy in your legs and back is not due to Taxotere (Docetaxel).Sciatic neuropathy is due to metastatic deposits in the lumbo-sacral vertabrae.Sciatica is caused by impingement of the L4, L5, or S1 nerve.Docetaxel can cause low WBC count.
