Does Taking Postinor-2 During Pregnancy Cause Any Adverse Effects On The Baby?

Hi..my wife was three weeks pregnant we didn t know....we had sex and I advised she takes postinor 2...she had heavy bleeding for seven days....I later did a urine test and found out she was pregnant... We went in for scan and it shows she is five weeks 6days pregnant... Please will the emergency pill she took have effect on our baby... Am worried

Few studies have shown that emergency contraception may not cause birth defects. But keep an eye of your fetal development and growth and TIFFaA scan etc.

Consult your gynaecologist she will examine and treat you accordingly.
