Does Taking Oxycodone And Acetaminophen Together Affect A Blood Test Report?

I have been taking in prescribed 30 mg oxycodone pills for about three months I received a prescription for oxycodone with acetaminophen from my doctor and my question is two fold 1) do I need to clean out my system prior to taking the prescribed medication? 2) I ve just recently acquired health insurance so I have never had any kind of blood work done before, I am a 48 year old male and my doctor wants me to get my blood work done, will taking the in prescribed pills affect the results of my blood work?

Hi,

To see the kidney function and liver function, immune status blood tests need to be done so that any correction with treatment can be done.Painkillers when taken for prolonged period may have some effect on your kidneys.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
