Does Switching From Depakote Er To Depakote Delayed-release Cause Side Effects?

Yes Sir. First- What does the er stand for in depacote er and next I was just today switched from Depacote er To Depacote Delayed release (797-798) But The Same Dose (1250mgs) I was very sleepy on the depacote er I am hoping I see a big Difference between the two. What do you think I might expect? This is the only oarl pill I take and I take it at 4pm daily. I also get a 50 mg Shot of risperdol consta every two weeks. Thank you-Ken

cannot predict. the levels obtained cannot be predicted and might be way higher or lower. one would typically get a blood level of the drug after 3 to 5 days of use to see how much is needed.
