Does Switching Birth Control Pills Affect The Menstrual Cycle?

Hi good afternoon.. I m taking a micropil almost 3 yrs then I switch to a lady pill after two months I switch again and back to micropil then after I finished the pack I my period was delayed I got a home pregnancy test but it was all negative result.. I went to.my OB and she advised me to take and continue the lady pills. How long it will take to get my period back after I started a new pack of my pill do I have to.wait to finished the whole pack before I get my period? Does my switching of pills affects my period? Thanx

Hi, I think switching the pills affect your periods due to different doses of hormones. You will get your periods only after finishing your whole pack. Hope I have answered your question.
