Does Stress From Losing Virginity Causes Delay In Periods?

Hey may I ask a question?

I am 20 years old and I sometimes have irregular periods. I had my first protected sex about 3 weeks ago as from today, and I should have came on my period around this week as for the past week I have been experiencing PMS symptoms but nothing has come from it yet. I wondered if the stress from losing my virginity could cause a delay? But then why would I have PMS symptoms?

Hello dear, the timing of your sexual activity might have coincided with your ovulation, so do a urine pregnancy test, if negative Wait for a week and if u still dont get your periods then visit a gynecologist. Take care and all the best.
