Does Stress Delay The Periods ?

Hello, I’m a 16-year-old girl (17 on 18th Feb) and I was admitted to a hospital for 3 days in the first week of December because of a stomach ulcer, I was throwing up a lot of blood and I couldn’t eat for 2 days (I had an IV thing). I was under a lot of stress; we were going to start IB exams that week and I had been stressing for a long time. Not the kind of usual test stress but real test anxiety- I couldn’t sleep, I was constantly panicking, if I tried to talk about it I burst into tears and couldn’t control it, etc. I feel fine now, but I missed my period for December and now I missed it for January as well. Is this bad? Why is this? Should I be worried? I don't think it is stress anymore because I'm not stressing now, just sometimes if I forget to do something but its only a little.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here I could say that of course the anxiety and depression could cause the delay in period some time it is better to keep the anxiety level very low, because this could cause other health problem too, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
