BEHIND MY LEFT EAR I HAVE A KNOT AND IT HURTS AND IT KIND OF MAKES MY EAR ACHEY AND DOWN TOWARD THE SIDE OF MY THROAT I MEAN THE ACHEY FEELING GOES DOWNT HE SIDE OF MY THROAT I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE A STRESS KNOT BECAUSE WHEN MY SON MASSAGES THE BACK OF MY NECK IT FEELS RELAXED

This is not related to stress.
This probably indicates lymph node enlargement.Usually results from conditions like dandruff, furuncleof external ear( pain around ear is more suggestive of the).
