Does Stress Ans Anxiety Cause High BP?

My blood pressure has been running the highest this am was 175/110. I have been a little shaky and out of sorts all day. This evening it is 164/84 pulse is 76. I am in the process of moving with alot of pressure of getting in done. Could this be the reason for the high blood pressure. I normally don t have high blood pressure. I am 71 years old.

Yes. Stress and anxiety will cause rise in blood pressure. Hence it needs a proper evaluation and institution of treatment.
