Does Streptomycin And Ampicillin Have A Scientific Base?

Hi doctors, Iam a pharmacist I saw in doctor's prescriptions streptomycin, ampicillin,or amoxicillin +flucloxacillin powder from vials (which are manufactured for IM injections) to be spreed-ed topically over infected wounds or burns
do these prescriptions have a scientific base, do you have experiences similar to this trend ? thanks a lot

Itis not scintific way of using injection powder tobe applied over wound. It is against all norm and it shouldnever be used that way.
