Does Smoking Cause Pain In Head, Neck And Arm?

I have been getting increasing shape pains on the left side at the back of my head for over a week. It make by neck ache and sometimes by left arm. I thought it was blood pressure, but i have seen my GP and it is slightly high but ok, they just give me painkillers. I have noticed that smoking can cause the pain and painkillers only help for 4 hours and when it can come back.

You didn't mention your age, sex, duration of pain, quantity and duration of smoking. So it is difficult to comment exactly. However smoking may cause pain by affecting your nervous system as well as indirectly through affecting circulatory system.Your blood pressure was somewhat high suggest you are suffering from physical problems from smoking.Headache can be due to blood pressure. However if pain in neck and arm may be due to angina. You must consult specialist physician for evaluation of pain to stop and treat it early stage. And ya simultaneously it is necessary to quit smoking.
