Does Skin Disappearance Around The Vagina Be Signs Of STD?

Hi, About 9-10 weeks ago, I trimmed my pubic hair, but obviously too short and too close to the labia (the smooth lining where hair still grows. It was very uncomfortable, and it looked like the follicles of my hair around the labia were a bit inflammed. (I do also ride a bike every day to work). Sometimes it felt like there were abrasions. I can't really see anything. I felt no blisters or bumps. But it is as if the growing hair was scratching away the mucous lining a bit. At least, that is what I surmised. If I was relatively still, or at night, I didn't feel anything - no pain, no itching. Also, no burning when urinating. It is very much better now, but still I have to be very careful when I wash down there to not pull any hair. I also just noticed that indeed some of the skin is gone around around certain hair follicles. It is not particularly itchy. It is nowhere as bad as a yeast infection... but I wonder, because about 2 weeks before this all started I broke up with a lover who I found out was sleeping with other women. Could I be describing an STD?

Thank you for query. It is not clear about the sexual history any discharge. It is always better to have protected intercourse like condom. If redness discharge itching other symptoms are there better to consult doctor for diagnosis and treatment. Keep the genital area clean .do not rub or have any friction when shaved the area.use clean washed pressed inner wears.
