Hi I was diagnosed 9 years ago with cardiomyopathy with an ejection fraction of 40-45 I was placed on digoxin for the past 9 years. I recently changed cardiologists and he said I have sinus tachycardia and cardiomyopathy. He took me off the digoxin (it s been 2 weeks) he has ordered an echo In 3 months . I am having a rapid heart rate when I go to bed so much that my left ear can hear the very strong beat of my heart. I am also fatigued. I am a 59 yr old very fit ( I am a fitness trainer). 5ft3 101 lbs. Should I be concerned or should I wait the 3 months to repeat echo. I think I went through withdrawal of the drug . Please advise
