Hi I am 30years old and have an under active thyroid which i am being treated with eltroxin 25mg. I woke up this morning with a rash under my chin and under my nose, it consists of tiny white/red pin head spots, they are rough to touch and they are itchy, i have taken piriton and it has given me some relief, should I consult my doctor?

Hi welcome to health care magic..

You are having hypothyroidism and taking eltroxin for that....

You are having rash over face... It might be allergic reaction or viral infection....

For which your have taken antihistaminic drug that is correct one...

But when patient is on eltroxin and rash occur than for that allergic reaction doctor consultation needs to be done....

Take care

Hope this will help
