Does Removal Of Uterine Fibroids Help To Reduce Vaginal Bleeding?

I m having fibrous. Waiting for surgery. I m having excessive discharge that I use 8 pads a day. I was given all the antibiotics never worked. I did papsmear was negative. I m stressed about this whole thing. I wear pads from 1 to 31. My fear is surgery gonna help me on this discharge?

Hi,
Thanks for the query. I understand your concern,
The prolonged bleeding with fibroid.. , non responding to birth control pills or Danazol/ with fast growth indicating possibility of malignancy need to be treated by removal of fibroid.
Bleeding would be controlled after surgery, provided it's only due to fibroid.
Mostly treating doctor evaluates all these factors & sets the treatment plan & he would be in a proper position to give exact details
You should believe your doctor & be ready for surgery, Of course, you do have right to get your queries answered before the surgery.
