Does Red Meat Cause Pleurisy?

Can eating red meat, particularly steak, create pleurisy in a person with a Hx of Bronchiectasis?
Had severe pleurisy last evening which started to set in 1 hr after my meal and then subsided with rest and appeared to be resolved by 3 am. Today I feel fine but some sensitivity noted due to the degree of pain I experienced last evening.

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on HCM.
No, red meat can nog cause pleurisy.
Pleurisy is inflammation of pleura. And it is mostly seen in infection like tuberculosis, pneumonia, pleural effusion , pulmonary contusions etc.
But not associated with any food especially red meat.
So this might be coincidence only, as red meat can not cause pleurisy.
Better to consult pulmonologist and rule out above mentioned causes of infection as bronchiectasis is prone for lung infection.
