Does Red And Blotchy Arms Indicate Keratosis Polaris Rubra?

My upper arms are red and blotchy, and have been for several years. There is no pain, dryness, or bumps. Online research keeps leading me to keratosis polaris rubra but everyone who has that seems to have the goosebumps as well. My arms are smooth, it just looks like someone smacked me. I can press on the redness and it turns normal skin for a moment and goes back to red. I don't have this problem anywhere else on my body, and it is there year round.

Dear Friend
Welcome to Health care magic. I am Dr Charu , I will shortly try to help you with my opinion.

keratosis pilaris is associated with red colored bumps with the most common site on upper arms. The skin usually is dry.

As per details, you are unlikely to have keratosis pilaris rubra.

I will suggest you to visit your dermatologist so that the lesions can be examined and correct diagnosis can be made.

if possible , you can attach a pic of the lesions so that i can help you further.

Based on the available details, this is my best advice for you.
Good Luck.
