HI,
One cannot directly come to a conclusion whether it is a cancer or not with just present or absence of pain. There are some stages of cancer which have no pain while others have maximum pain. However, an existing mole that undergoes a following changes
A-asymmetric, b- border irregular, c - colour change, d-diameter increase and E-elevation are more likely to arouse a suspicion of cancerous change. Therefore it is best to visit your local doctor and get a biospy done
