Does Progesterone Tablet Cause Delay In Periodic Cycle?

Hi I m 32 yrs old and recently married. My Gynocologist prescribed intake of progesteon for 30 days and in my 32nd day I got my periods - last month. So I stopped the tablets on her advice . This month , it s 35 days n I m still waiting for my cycle to start. I usually get my periods on 26 th day. Pls advice. Does intake of progesteon affect periodic cycle - consecutive menstral cycle - even whn stopped two Months ago ?

In my opinion you should rule out pregnancy first by urine pregancy test as your last menstruation was before 35 days
if it comes negative than start norethisterone 5 mg three times a day for 5 days after consulting a doctor.
