Does Pre Cum Contain Sperms Which May Lead To Pregnancy ? Can A Pregnancy Be Averted By Taking BCP Instead Of ECP After Intercourse ?

Hello, I have recently stopped taking my birth control because I felt that I may have been taking it incorrectly. I stopped when my active pills were done and had my menstrual that ended this Saturday or Sunday. This morning I had unprotected intercourse with my boyfriend when I remembered I was not on birth control any longer. We stopped and he did not ejaculate, but I am wondering if his pre ejaculation could impregnate me? Also, I took my roommate s birth control at 7AM right after intercourse and again at 7PM, the brand is Gildess FE 1/20. I was thinking it would work the same as an emergency contraceptive, am I wrong? -Danielle

Hi,thanks for query.Normally in first week after periods the chances of pregnancy is very less.The ovulation normally takes place in the middle of the cycle so that period is dangerous period.Yes pre cum can contain sperms at times and can lead to pregnancy.The pills that you have taken are not effective as emergency contraceptive in dose taken.Still I feel there is no need to worry.
