Does Pneumonia Aggravate After Drinking Milk?

I take 750mg Levofloxacin once a day for pneumonia. Today I forgot and had a cup of tea with milk just before. This was my 5th day/dose. I am immune compromised and have been fighting this for 2.5 weeks, off and on (with another drug). I am worried I really messed up and pneumonia will come back. Help....Thanks

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The calcium contained in milk may prevent the body from full absorbing levofloxacine, but this is isn't a cause for pneumonia to come back.
You can continue taking Levofloxacine , the next dose normally as prescribed by the doctor.
Try to take the antibiotic 1 hour before or 2 hours after the meals.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
