Does Phenolphthalein In Y-lax Effect Liver And Kidney?
sir,very glad to meet u , iam using y-lax medicine for the past 8 months .is phenolphthalein in y-lax effects liver and kidneys .becoz iam using it for fissures problem and they are operated and removed and doctor suggested some other laxatives and only y-lax is effectively works on me.plz guide me.

Although the safety of Phenolphthalein on the kidney and liver has not been established however Phenolphthalein has been withdrawn from the market in the U.S.because of potential carcinogenicity.
