Hello. I accidentally ate a bite of cake that my sister later told me was 2-3 weeks old. (The smell and taste was not a bit off.) Eggs were one of the ingredients. Later that day, I had a stomach ache that persists into today.

Is pepto bismol going to work? If not, what OTCs will? (Or if no OTCs, what meds will?)

(Also, she claimed that salmonella forms from old eggs. Is this true? If so, what additional steps do I need?)
