Does painless contraction and pink spotting mean start of labor ?

Hi, Im 39 weeks pregnant and 2 days. Ive been having contractions but they do not hurt, although i have them almost every 20 minutes. I also had a pink spotting today. It wasnt blood or mucousy though, just a pink tinge on the toilet paper. Could this be the start of labor or should I be worried?

I am 38 weeks pregnant and as of my last appointment, ( 3-4 days ago), my cervix was still closed. Last night, however, I woke up in the middle of the night feeling extremely bad. I was nauseous and hot, the baby felt like he was sitting very heavy. My contractions (or what felt like contractions) starting coming rapidly and intensely. I ended up puking and felt somewhat better but was still unable to sleep the majority of the night (3 hours). The contractions are still there and I had diarrhea this morning. Am I in labor? I had bad bacon for breakfast Monday morning but only a couple pieces and after a few hours, the side effects of the food seemed to be completely gone.
