I have a large boot on and I am riding a scooter due to a fracture on my foot. It is my right foot .... same side in which I had a TKR a few years ago. Question: my knee is swelling and I have pain in my knee. Will this kneeling on this scooter cause other problems with my TKR??? Please help

Hello,

Where did you fracture in your foot? If you had trivial trauma to the same leg operated for TKR then you need to better get an x-ray to rule out if anything has happened to the prosthesis or not.

Just ruling out any condition. If both comes normal then a small hairline fracture of the foot will heal on its own and doesn't cause any problem at all to you. You can take any painkillers for pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
