OBGYN 's  Response
Hello, and i hope I can help you today.

First of all, I do not know how old you are, but if you are young and of reproductive age, your risk of ovarian cancer is extremely rare. The average age at diagnosis of ovarian cancer is 62 years of age.
In addition, only one type of ovarian cancer can produce pregnancy hormone, and that type is also extremely rare.

The most common sign of pregnancy is missing your period. However, pregnancy symptoms vary widely between women, and many of the symptoms we usually associate with pregnancy like bloating, breast tenderness, nausea, fatigue, spotting and mood changes can happen in cases of hormonal irregularities as well as pregnancy. If you are not yet late for your period, it is very unlikely you would have a positive pregnancy test.

So I suggest you see an OBGYN physician to perform a blood pregnancy test to confirm for sure if you are pregnant. The fact that you have performed multiple tests with different results may indicate that you are performing the test incorrectly. The doctor may also be able to perform a physical examination to make sure there is nothing wrong with your ovaries.

I hope i was able to adequately answer your question today and that this information was reassuring.

Best wishes,

Dr. Brown
